Ever seen a property and wondered where it was in comparison to local ammenities, transport and motorways?
Well, wonder no more - estateagents.co.uk now offers the free facility whereby users can be shown where the properties that are retrieved in their search on a map.
The use of Google maps to display property search results allows users to investigate a property's area. Furthermore, options including Map view, Satellite view and Hybrid view enhance the mapped search results.
Map view allows users to see where properties are on a standard map, similar to an A to Z that you can buy in the shops.
Satellite view lets you see what the area actually looks like. These pictures are sent from satellites orbiting the earth, hence the term Satellite view.
Hybrid view lets users mix both the Map and Satellie views, so they can see the road names on a Satellie view map, allowing the user to see exactly where roads and ammenties are without confusion.
Users are initially presented the standard search results upon searching. However by choosing 'Map these results', the properties are then displayed on a map.
Users also have the ability to switch between 'Standard results' and 'Map results', enhancing the search experience.
