Facebook Property App Offers Cheaper Alternative To Estate Agents

The world’s first ever Facebook app for selling, buying and renting property has launched today.

The Property Place app cuts out the need for expensive estate and letting agents, making it cheaper for people to sell or rent out their homes .

Property details can be uploaded in minutes and users can arrange viewings through Facebook’s private messaging service, or check out profiles of potential roommates. Property wish lists can also be created and shared with friends across the social network.

The fee for the online service is £75 for property sales and £35 for lettings. For an extra £295, customers not keen on arranging viewings themselves can utilise the services of online estate agency Emoov, who will handle the logistics and ongoing management at fraction of the cost of an agent.
