Online property portal Zoopla.co.uk has announced that is has added Byteplay Ltd to its ever-growing portfolio after completing its acquisition of the property technology company.
The acquisition of Byteplay means websites such as OnOneMap.com, DotHomes.com and Extate.com will now be re-directed to Zoopla.co.uk, along with a number of local property gazette sites which cover every major town and city across the UK.
It also means that estate agents advertising their properties on the Zoopla site will now gain more internet exposure and receive more leads through these local property portals.
Alex Chesterman, founder and chief executive of Zoopla.co.uk explained: "Byteplay has a number of interesting assets which will allow us to better serve our member agents and provide even more enquires and greater exposure."
The move comes just two weeks after Zoopla.co.uk announced it had agreed long term strategic partnerships with the UKs three largest estate agency groups Countrywide, LSL Property Services and Connells Group.
The tie-ups mean all three groups will now advertise their properties from over 2,000 high street branches on Zoopla.co.uk, and provide additional marketing and advice.
