We are back to buying and of course selling homes again. We are returning to the property market in huge numbers.
My Mortgage Direct figures show that confidence is back in the property market after it had died down in 2005.
Between January and March 2005 more than double the number of people moved home in contrast with the same time in 2005, a 15% increase relative to the previous three months.
The Bank of England's decision to maintain interest rates for the last nine months has been partially responsible for the increase, so stated My Mortgage Direct .
2005 witnessed a strong re-mortgage market and more first time buyers returned. Yet this did not sustain the market .
Mortgages are popular again as telephone broker My Mortgage Direct reveals that trackers top the list.
Fixed rate mortgages are available yet buyers are swayed by other add ons.
