All over the country estate agents will be cheering on England when the World Cup starts. Some estate agents have already started showing their support by displaying special World Cup ‘For Sale’ boards.
Activity of supporting England is especially noticeable in the home regions of stars such as Wayne Rooney, Stephen Gerrard and Rio Ferdinand. Here Merseyside-based Estate agents Venmore Partnership, Bairstow Eves and Bridgfords are giving homeowners the chance to fly the flag.
As well as cheering England, the Venmore boards will also help the NSPCC’s Safe Place charity appeal to build a dedicated centre for vulnerable children on Merseyside. Where all new instructions received until the end of the World Cup will have one of the boards erected free and existing customer can request a new board for a small fee. All funds received for replacement boards from existing customers will go directly to the NSPCC.
All properties with the redesigned boards will be entered into a draw every time England wins a game. The winners will receive a voucher to have their home sold for free.
Simon Wall, Venmore’s managing partner said "We want to help people show their support for England and, at the same time, we are delighted to help such a good cause."
