26% of UK households are going to be worth one million dollars plus in the next decade, which is £526,900. This will consist of savings, property, land and investments.
This growth in aggregate wealth places the UK in top spot for million dollar households, above global powerhouses of US and Japan, at 16% and 22% respectively.
There are also going to be a couple of two new wealth categories by 2016, known as the 'super millionaire' as well as the 'nearlionaire'.
Super millionaires will have assets worth $3m or £1,580,700, with nearlionaires holding aggregate wealth of between $500k to $1m.
Barclays reports that there are going to be 1m plus UK super millionaires by 2016, with 49% of all households becoming nearlionaires.
Every household income is anticipated to increase by 67% in the next decade.
Brits' anticipated wealth is due to a strong property market as well as an increasing entrepreneurial culture with a shift from from inherited wealth.
