Buy to let investors are getting great yields and their property values were increasing in February.
So says new data from Paragon Mortgages Buy-to-Let Index and that is not all.
2005 started off slow and activity has picked up since, with the momentum growing in 2006.
January to March, average rents increased 6.39% to £10,590, with the average rental property price rising £9,000 to £163,417.
Paragon emphasises that greater tenant demand is a key factor in increasing rental income .
This is great news for the rental market as well as buy to let investors .
The East Midlands has witnessed the greatest yields, with property values increasing quickest in the south-east.
Rents rose in seven out of ten regions, with the largest increase in the east Midlands as average rental income rose to £9,545 a year.
